I know what you're thinking, where did "The
Beadin' Beagle" name come from? |
|
|
Years ago, when I first
started beading our first rescued beagle, Jake, would sit at my feet while I worked and I started
calling him my "beading beagle". When I had to make a decision on a name for our
business, I thought that it seemed fun & quirky! Thus, "The Beadin' Beagle"
was born.
My first pieces were given as
gifts and then people started requesting custom pieces that they couldn't find in retail
stores such as
mother's bracelets &
college jewelry. |

A member of my small business
group,
Creative Enterprises, mentioned she
was looking for a
stylish medical
bracelet. She asked if I could help and I obliged. I posted a few photos on the
website and it's now become our most popular item!
I don't know why I never thought of it myself! In 1991, I was diagnosed with
Crohn's Disease
so I am no stranger to being a patient or taking vital medications daily. But I
must give credit where credit is due! |

Update - December 2007 - Happy Holidays! As we approach 2008, we plan to start the year
with some great new designs. We know that there are many other
companies that make
medical jewelry and we
appreciate each and every one of you that make our business
a success! |
